Our school organised the Project Show of students of class III on Saturday, August 29, 2020 on a virtual platform in which all 180 students of class III participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The show began with invoking the blessings of the almighty with a melodious shabad recital followed by the lighting of the lamp.
The Principal, Mrs. Asha Saran Srivastava welcomed and addressed the esteemed guests, parents, and other dignitaries. She thanked the parents for their cooperation without which the show would not have been possible. She also said, The cooperation, contribution and commitment of our parents as co-partners to promote learning and quality education at JKPS, especially during these testing times is highly acknowledged and appreciated by all of us.
The show began with a Bengali dance performance by young Jaspalians on a song written by the well-known Noble Laureate, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore that reinforces about hope and resilience. It was a heart-warming experience to see the progress of digital journey at JKPS, making sure the school can best replicate the real-life school experience for students, virtually. From teaching online to Assemblies, Celebration of special days (like Earth Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day etc.), competitions, project shows, and virtual tours, the presentation of JKPS online journey clearly showcased that the school is doing everything possible to incorporate co-curricular activities as a part of the online teaching process.
The project show was based on the wonders of Mother Nature and how all of us can 'Recycle, Reduce and Reuse' all the resources available to us. The Dramatico Musical, 'Voices of Care for Creation' was wonderfully prepared and executed by the enthusiastic, little Jaspalians who came on screen to teach the importance of saving energy. Clubbed with songs on preserving resources and foot-tapping dances, the entire show compilation was enjoyable and well-perceived by the audience.
The Chief Guest, Mr Harangad Singh, JKPS alumnus and a well-known fashion designer, graced the occasion. He praised the efforts of the students, teachers and staff at JKPS for putting up the spectacular show and reminisced his times in the school and all the values he imbibed from the teachers and mentors during his school years.
The chairman of the school, Sardar Surjit Singh Ji and Vice-Chairperson, Mrs. Rasna Singh also graced the occasion. The show came to a close with a vote of thanks by the Principal followed by the national anthem.
