Mother Teresa said, “Service to man is service to God”. Ashoka the great said,“We should give food to hungry, education to illiterate and money to poor”.
We at JKPS believe in working outside the social boundaries. Our community out reach programme is an earnest effort by our students to lend a helping hand to the physically challenged and the underprivileged. Valuable qualities of caring, sharing and concern are inculcated in the young learners by visits to PALNA, SEWA, BRAILE Institue, Cheshire Home and Arushi.
The school also runs the Vivekananda Pathshala in the evening in the school premises. It is an effort to facilitate learning among children and adults of near by slum dwellings.
Every winters the school student, along with teachers, Principal and Head Mistress, venture out to distribute blankets to those on the roads on a cold winter night.
